How you can help

On March 23, 2025, our beloved Chris, father to Chris Jr., Mikayla, and Reece, step-father to Brandon, husband of Tracie, son of Gus, grandfather of Everly and Leilani, brother to Joe, uncle and friend of many has left us to join his mother, Peggy Lesinski.

This loss has left our hearts broken, and the family is now facing an incredibly difficult time both emotionally and financially. Chris made a profound impact on everyone who knew him. Chris was the life of the party, the master of dad jokes, and your go-to person for silly dance moves. With a quick wit and an even quicker laugh, Chris has spent years perfecting the art of making people smile (and occasionally cringe with those really bad puns). Whether it’s cracking jokes about everyday life or turning an awkward situation into comedy gold, there’s never a dull moment when he’s around. When he's not making people laugh, you could find Chris building or fixing something. There was always work to be done. He loved to cook, especially Filipino food, and he was always at home at the beach, with a fishing rod within arm's reach. Chris was a doer and there was never a problem or an issue that Chris would not personally take on to fix himself. He was loud and he was funny, everyone heard him before you saw him coming. When you were with him, you were guaranteed to have a good time. Chris was a die hard everything DC sports fan but he really loved the Washington Redskins/Commanders. This past season, he was all about this year’s team, their improbable run of late game wins, and their heart stopping season. It’s possible you have personally heard his booming voice scream, “are you kidding me?!” We are broken without him.

As we navigate this heartbreaking time, we are asking for your help. The family is in need of assistance to cover transport back to his hometown of Falls Church, Virginia and funeral expenses. Any contribution, no matter how small, would be a tremendous help and would allow us to focus on grieving and remembering the love and joy Chris brought into our lives.

Please join us for his visitation on April 5, 2025 from 1-5pm at National Funeral Home in Falls Church, Virginia . We appreciate your support and kind thoughts during this difficult time.

Thank you for your generosity, love, and understanding.
