Christopher's obituary

Christopher Richard Quinn

November 5, 1955 – October 7, 2024

Ashburn, Virginia

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Christopher Richard Quinn, aged 68, on October 7, 2024 in Ashburn, Virginia. He was a beloved husband, father, grandpa, brother, and friend, and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Christopher Richard Quinn was born on November 5, 1955 in Frankfurt, Germany. He was a loved family man, and most notably known for the way he cared for his wife, children, and grandchildren. Chris cared for the simple things in life and enjoyed good cups of coffee, thrift store visits, long drives with good music with his wife, and sitting in a rocker outside with sunshine. He also spent a lot of time reading and was always learning about new topics, and sharing those tidbits with the family. When Chris wasn’t enjoying his hobbies, he spent 50 years in the automotive industry and was a respected co-worker & boss to fellow employees.

A notable moment in Chris’ life was while on his honeymoon he committed his life to Jesus Christ. This changed the trajectory of his life and shaped his remaining years on earth. Chris lived a faithful life to Christ and communicated his passion for Jesus to his family and those that were around him. His family is thankful for the legacy he walked out and left for them to remember.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela Quinn; daughters, Christina West, Julie Keefe, Anna Borkovic, Meghan Ohmer; grandchildren, Sebastian West, Dylan West, Addie Keefe, Harper Keefe, Kinsley Keefe, Daniel Borkovic, Eleanor Borkovic; siblings, Mary Lindhal, Pat Swanagin, Maureen Bonifield, Kevin Quinn, Eileen Garcia, Kathy Settle, Peggy Lusby, and Susie Poole.

Funeral Service will be held on October 14 at 10AM at Cornerstone Chapel in Leesburg, Virginia. The burial will follow at Ketoctin Cemetery at 11:45AM in Purcellville, Virginia.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Samaritan’s Purse.
