My dear Chris,
This past Wednesday, 31 December 2025, would have been our 19th wedding anniversary. Sophia joined me in watching our wedding video that evening. It is undoubtedly more meaningful to her at age 17 than it was in years past. I'm so grateful we did that video, because many people who are dear to me are in it and have passed on. It captures your grin, your humor, and your love, which I will always treasure.
How I wish we could have spent all of these years together. We had many adventures, and had plans for so many more. You could have shared the joys of raising our daughter with me. She is an amazing young woman whom I am very proud of, and I know you would be, too. She'll graduate from high school this spring and then be off to college. I am blessed to have her in my life and excited for what God has in store for her.
You are forever in my thoughts and in my heart.
Lovingly yours,
Michele

Christopher Quaid was a great friend, a great patriot- who gave so much to our country- So much of what he gave made a real difference and in many cases few knew the details since it was classified . He is missed.

Our Beloved Chris. His wonderful smile. His uplifting humor. His knowledge, wisdom, and many varied abilities. A brave warier. A Lt. Col. honored and loved by those who worked with him, and those that he answered to. C worked well with others for best practices and brave new and better ideas. His loyalty to his friends and fellow warriors. His love and loyalty for his extended family, his dad and mom, his children, and his wife. Our hero, our much-loved Chris is missed with every sunrise and every sunset.
Loved beyond words. Missed beyond measure. Until we meet again.
Love and wonderful memories. Grandma Shirley & Michele & Sophia & Family

he was a wonderful person - that always put the interests and needs of the country above his own interests. He also was great to work with. His interests were to arrive at the best solution for the U.S.- not just "win' the talk for himself.
