Christopher's obituary
Though his life was cut short, the impact he left on friends and family is profound. In high school, he was top of his JROTC class and was proud to be invited to attend the Citadel. He hoped one day to travel the world and settle down to build a family of his own.
Christopher was best known for his sense of humor, love of gaming, and the immense love he had for his family. He had an impeccable work ethic and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Whether it be an elderly person struggling with groceries, helping his step sister reach the cereal bowls, or one of his brothers projects, he was always ready to jump in.
Christopher was especially proud to be a new uncle to little Henry (Tony and Shawna) and never missed an opportunity to have a conversation with Henry discussing baby politics. He was loved by everyone lucky enough to have known him and will be greatly missed. A memorial will be held in Elizabeth City, NC and will be live streamed for friends and family who cannot attend in person. The date and time will be announced.
He is survived by his father Joseph (Kimberly) Pluchta; his brother Tony (Shawna) Duba; his brother Trà (Margie) Duba; and sister Aryana.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to woundedwarriorproject.org in his name.
