It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Christopher Neikens, who passed on August 18, 2024. Born on December 9, 1968, Christopher led a life of hard work, laughter, and love.
Predeceased by his sister, Charlotte Neikens, he leaves behind a loving family. He is survived by his beautiful wife of twenty years, Carol Neikens, and his daughters Ciara Keenan and Cecilia Neikens. His children were his joy and pride, born on June 24, 1994, and March 24, 1999.
Christopher held a fondness for outings with his family going for car rides, viewing garage sales, or visiting theme parks. He cherished people-watching with his wife while drinking coffee, finding humor and wonder in everyday life.
Blue was his color of choice, a color that symbolized his go with the flow and babbling personality. Christopher was a caring individual, with his family and his daughters being closest to his heart. He had a natural ability to bring laughter and light into any room with his funny and warm demeanor.
Christopher accepted Christ into his heart at a young age and thanked God for a beautiful day with every adventure from simple to extraordinary. A talented man, Christopher had a knack for excelling at everything he tried. Christopher excelled in challenges involving wit, skill, and technique. His legacy is his infectious laughter and the unconditional love he had for his family.
As we mourn Christopher's passing, we also celebrate the joyous and compassionate life he lived, the laughter he shared, and the love he gave. His memory will continue to inspire and uplift all those who were fortunate to know him.
