Christopher (Chris, Aunt Chris), Katherine Murphy from Seattle, WA passed away on January 29, 2022 after a long illness.  Chris was born on May 14, 1949 to Donald and Juanita Smith.  After graduating from Roosevelt High in 1968.  Her first job was as an ice cream vendor in a small musical truck. She went onto begin her nursing career after completing school.  Her first nursing job was at Children's Hospital in Seattle.  She worked there until 2013. She met Steve in 1973 and finally married him in 1979.   No children but untold number of children in her life, many that adopted her.  After her retirement she continued to live a full life with her large chosen family.  She is survived by her husband Steve, Sister-in-Law Laura, Niece Megan, Niece Julia, Nephew Stephen and Great Nephews Clay, Owen, Caden and Eli.
