Was putting my daughter to bed last night and in the quiet, I was just thinking about Chris a lot. Just missing him. I thought about acknowledging that here this morning and then completely forgot today also happens to be his birthday.

A few years late but Chris made such an impact in my life. Heartbroken to learn of his passing. We went to APU together and were on the same team in Camden/Trenton, New Jersey. He sparked my love for Kendrick Lamar. He was an incredible being. Thanking God for his time and impact on the world. Sharing my condolences with you family, praying that even now you still find Gods comfort when you’re missing him.

2009
Happy Birthday Chris. This is a letter Chris wrote to the Hillcrest school staff in 2009. This letter was to raise choir money for a missions trip to Chile. It displays his strong faith and relationship with God. It also shows his love for people all over the world as he was willing to raise money even if he could not go on the trip himself. He did end up going to Chile, and it was a very impactful experience for him. Happy Birthday Chris!

It’s been two months since we’ve said goodbye to our dear Christopher. Thank you to everyone who has shown kindness, love and financial support during this time. Your condolences, photos, videos, and words of encouragement have all been such a blessing. We pray that you continue to find peace and comfort knowing that our family is doing the same.
