Chris, you were a shining example of a wonderful young man who shared his precious gifts with all students young and older. I was so blessed to have our paths cross for many years at Lee College. Rest In Peace🙏🏼❤️

Christopher McClure and I lived together for a time, prayed together, went to church together, and ate at most of the trendy restaurants and eateries in the Houston Area. When returning from an MDAnderson treatment, we would usually stopped at some place to eat that he had found online or from word of mouth. I will remember those times and appreciate the fight he waged against non Hodgkins Lymphoma, an unforgiving form of cancer. He was at peace and all was well with his soul. To Dulce, and friends, thank you for your journey with Christopher and especially for your perfect love.

Chris, you will be sorely missed by all who knew you. Your positive attitude in the midst of your own trials was infectious and inspiring! You continued to make sure others were cared for even through your pain. You were a giant among men. Thank you for your friendship and your genuine grace. Love you Christopher. Rest easy my friend.
Lee College won't be the same without you, you touched the lives of so many. I am blessed to have met and worked with you.
Chris was the first person to embrace me outside of my immediate department when I first started working at Lee. He had a way of making everyone feel like family. Chris is the personification of everything good and right in the world; to say that he will be missed is an understatement. I'll miss his light, laughter, and humor. I hope all of us gleaned something from Chris to carry his torch as long as we live. Dulce, your Lee College family is here in whatever capacity you need. All my love, Jamie.
I'm so sorry Dulce, I'm going to miss him calling Rosemary Rosemary.

Dear Vera and Family,
Chris was more than a valued employee to me. He personified all that makes Lee College great. His love for students was the epitome of our purpose, be it Regent or Employee. I recall how Chris went over and beyond to help many students I referred to him. It was always with the utmost concern for their well being. He served diligently on the Presidential Search Committee and always championed the student's perspective. Chris was impactful in any space he occupied at the college. I hope these precious memories will bring you comfort in the days, weeks, months and years to come. So for now, farewell my friend. Until we meet again.

Going to miss our talks nephew. Rest in peace...as you transcend to your heavenly place. You truly touched the lives of many. Gone way too soon!
I thank God for allowing me to know such a respectful, humble and kind spirited young man. Chris was as kind as his Mother and Grandmother to me at our church, the Cathedral of Praise COGIC. May God comfort amd give his wife and the rest of his family and friends who love him peace now and in the days to come.
Love,
Missionary Latosha Hawkins- Ford
