His birthday 🎂 🥳 🎊 🎉 🍺
I've known Christopher since he was born. He is my lil cousin. But more like a my baby brother. I love and miss him so much. His nickname for me was Big Tammy. I'm going to miss hearing that when he would call me on the phone 📱.

I got to know Chris through our birthday club at Lee College. If you drew Chris' name for your birthday you knew you had some sort of prank coming your way. He kept us on our toes for sure, but also kept us laughing. Prayers for comfort and peace are sent to his family during this time.
My heart is grieving today learning that Chris has gained his wings.

Dear Dulce and Family,
Please accept my deepest condolences and I extend my hands in prayer for strength during this difficult time.
Matthew 5:4 - Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.

Dear Chris,
You were such a kind and gentle soul. I’m so grateful that I had the opportunity to know you and it was a pleasure joining forces on Lee College projects. I’ve always admired your passion, resilience and caring heart. Thank you so much for the opportunity to work for you last year. I will forever cherish the memories. May you rest in peace and have eternal life.

Chris always made me feel incredible welcome when I started at Lee College and made a point to say hello to me any time we saw each other. He always had sage advice or a silly joke to brighten any day. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family during this difficult time.
My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. Chris was one of a kind, he was such a kind-hearted person. I am saddened to hear about his passing. RIP bud.
I was saddened to hear of the loss of this beautiful person. I didn't work with Chris for very long, but he was always a light in the room. He had a such a positive attitude and presence to him. He will be greatly missed. My thoughts are with his family during this difficult time.
Teachers don't get to choose their students; they get good ones and sadly, they get some bad ones; for the most part they get students who do their job as long as you're doing yours and you enjoy them while you've got them and then you make peace with the fact that you more than likely may never see them again. You can forget the ones you choose to and remember the ones you wish you had more of. I had the privilege and honor to get to be a teacher to Chris—but actually the true privilege and honor was the opportunity that was afforded me to get to learn from Mr. Christopher McClure. I felt a bound almost immediately with Chris. I’m sure that many of my colleagues can relate to that feeling you get when you get a good one, I mean a really good one in your class, and you brighten up when they walk through the door because you know in your heart of hearts that their presence in your class helps strengthen your own resolve. Such was Chris to me in my classroom. He would not have even said what the problem was if I hadn’t asked—he never once used his illness as an excuse in my class—even when the weight loss and dark circles and missed classes made me ask if he would mind telling what was wrong. I even made Chris give me his autograph when his picture came out on a Lee College pamphlet—it’s on my wall in my office—I wish I could share it with you all—the pictures and videos have been so wonderful to see—he was such a truly unique young man. I cannot even fathom what it will be like when we finally do get to go back to campus to not get to see the face that would have been one of my first to go and seek out. Chris you are a prince among men, a true servant of not only our students at Lee, but I’m sure to many others as well; you are one student that I will never, ever forget—who taught me so much and will be missed and thought of with fondness and respect by so many—we only get to meet a few like you in our lifetimes—I’m so blessed I got to be one of the lucky ones and to be able to call you my friend. You have left us all with such a blessing. God bless those you leave behind—may we all find comfort from each other in our fond memories of you.
Chris was a great co-worker. I will miss seeing his smiling face walking around campus. Your family is in my prayers.
Sending my love and prayers during this time. Chris and his smiling face will truly be missed. Dulce, sending you hugs, we love you! God bless
I taught Chris at Baytown Junior many years ago.....I loved him....He was such a sweet, nice boy and funny, too. If I gave him a "No" answer to something he wanted to do, he could usually change my mind with that big smile of his. This makes me so very sad, but I am also happy to know that he grew up to be a fine man who helped so many people.
Dear Chris,
I will miss your smile that could brighten any gray day :-) Your love and passion for helping students was evident every time a student walked through RH107 - you stopped what you were doing and devoted your full attention to support each one. Every student left the office feeling grateful and cared for after a chat with you. I will be forever grateful for your mentorship of Hiep during his time at Lee. Thank you for being there when I went through my treatment. I'm glad we were able to catch up for lunch a few times in the Med Center.

May you Rest in Peace embraced by God's love.

Dear Dulce,
I am so sorry for your loss. I hope that you find comfort in the precious moments you two shared and knowing that Chris made a difference in the lives of so many students.

May God Bless You and Comfort You now and the days, months, and years to come...

With love,
Veronique Tran
Chris really helped me get through my cancer. He was even willing to take me to my chemo appointments.
He was easily one the sweetest people that I have ever known.
The world lost an absolute angel.
A good man who touched a lot of people. He will be missed.
I was working as a Uber driver in 2019 when I picked Christopher up one morning to take him to work. We got to talking and I told him how I was saving up to go back to school. He not only informed me about the grant programs, but called his job and informed them he'd be a little late and had me take us both to the workforce building where he took me upstairs to meet the young lady in charge of it. I now have an amazing job at Houston Methodist in Baytown and credit Christopher and God for putting it all in motion.
