Christopher's obituary

In loving memory of our beloved father, Christopher “Bobo" John Langlois, Sr.

Christopher was born on February 8th, 1962 in New Orleans, Louisiana. He died on May 19th, 2022 at 3:40 pm in Alexandria, Louisiana. Christopher was 60 years old.

One of the kindest souls around, our father was a gentle, giving man who worked tirelessly to provide for his family. Over the years, Bobo learned the importance of hard work, and he instilled that same work ethic in all of us. Bobo was a man of strong faith, and he taught us the true importance of family. Whether he was giving life advice and wise words, or just simply sitting around cracking jokes, Bobo impacted our lives tremendously. We sure will miss Bobo and his random phone calls, just to bond and laugh! But, we are grateful for the time spent with our Bobo, and all of the memories shared, lessons learned, and wisdom gained from him.

Christopher is survived by many loving family members, including: his sons, Christopher “CJ” John Langlois, Jr. and wife Harlee, Matthew Dillon Langlois and wife Madilyn, and Daniel Garrett Langlois and wife Lexus; his step-son, Allen Walker; his daughter, Laci Rose Ayers and husband Craig; his mother, Susan Remel Woodward; his brothers, Jewel “Columbo” Roy Langlois, Jr. and wife Clara, and Timothy Woodward and wife Carla; and his spouse of over 20 years, Cynthia Marie Reid. Christopher is also survived by many other loving family members and numerous grandchildren.

Christopher was preceded in death by his father, Jewel Roy Langlois, Sr.; his sister, Amy Woodward Guillot; and his step-son, Justin Matlock Reid

Father, you are now at peace, but you will live on forever in our hearts. Rest easy with our Lord God in Heaven… we love you so much!
