Still in shock  as I only just learned a few hours ago that Chris had passed. We were neighbors for a short time and I had just spoken with him the day before he passed.  I was going to call him today to ask him some mechanics stuff, couldn't  find his number, so I googled his name in a last ditch effort to pull up his phone number . I came across his obituary.  I am truly  saddened  by this. Read this obit and it so on point. Chris  was too loud  sometimes.  Alway quick witted with his jokes or his combacks from my jokes directed  at him. Wow...RIP Chris.

Scott and I had been on detachment in Key West and went out to one of the local bars to have a few beers. As we were walking out of the bar and headed across the street, Scott had turned to me and said " you know being here feels like we are still in the states" I actually had to stop, think about what he said and laughed, after a few minutes of me laughing uncontrollably and Scott asking what was so funny, I finally answered him with a question and said " where do you think Key West is located. Because last I checked Key West was in Florida which is still to my knowledge in the states. He just looked at me and said man, you know what I mean... 

My deepest condolences.  I was privileged to work with him in Norfolk. He could always make everyone laugh. Thoughts and prayers for the family.
