Christopher "Chris" Michael Kleine passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home in Colorado Springs, Colorado on September 18, 2025. Born January 19, 1971 in Portland, Oregon, Chris will be remembered as a loving son, a devoted brother, an animal lover, and proud cat dad. Chris is preceded in death by his older brother Scott E. Kleine, and is survived by his parents David E. and Carol A. Kleine, his sister Nikki N. Vega, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Chris attended Tigard High School in Tigard, Oregon and obtained an apprenticeship in carpentry through training at the Angell Job Corps in Yachats, Oregon. He pursued his passion of culinary arts through attendance and training at the Oregon Culinary Institute in Portland, Oregon.

A member of the First Lutheran Church of Colorado Springs, Chris will be laid to rest next to his brother Scott in the church's Columbarium.

There will be no public services.
