Christopher Michael Jones passed away due to illness on October 5th, 2020 at Sharp Memorial hospital in Chula Vista, CA.

Chris will be remembered as selfless, kindhearted, and a bit of a chatterbox with a smile for everyone. He loved animals and had everything from dogs and cats, ferrets, hermit crabs and snakes at some point in his life. During his first tornado warning in Lincoln, he brought all of his animals including his fish to shelter in his mother's basement.

Chris loved racing fast cars and belonged to a local car club "Armageddon. His favorite TV show was "Street Outlaws" and his favorite driver was Dominator. He was thrilled to have met his racing hero, Joe Woods, while at Tucson Dragway.

Chris was also known for his love of cooking, particularly BBQ. His bar-b-que ribs, roast pork, and Thanksgiving turkey will be missed by all.

Chris is survived by his father, Gary Jones, his mother, Angela Jones, his sister, Crystal Jones, and his nephew Kyler (Jones) Harding.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic we had a small family gathering celebrating Chris' life on October 10th and followed on the 11th with an outdoor Celebration of Life memorial for friends and co-workers in San Diego. We are hoping to have a Celebration of Life memorial for Chris in Lincoln this Spring as soon as they get the pandemic under control.
