Chris gave us a member of our family. A solid black beautiful kitty which we named Pantera. I would send him pics of Pantera every holiday. We miss him being in the world. We are sorry for your loss. James and Connie Hollenden.

In lieu of flowers

In lieu of flowers, consider a gift to Children's Defense Fund.
One moonless night when Chris was about 13 and had been told he couldn't go out with friends. After going to his room, I heard his sliding glass door open and him climbing the privacy fence. Of course without light, I couldn't see which direction he'd gone. So I locked the doors and waited for him to ring the doorbell so I would have to let him in and fur would fly.

When he returned to the house, he'd climbed back over the fence and knocked on his sister's window trying to wake her. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. He used the keypad to the garage door and rather than wake me he decided to sleep in a laundry basket in the garage. We both loved that story. :-)
