It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Christopher "Jay" Harris, who left us peacefully on November 14, 2025. Born on October 5, 1963, Christopher, also known as Jay, greatly cherished his family, friends, and the simple joys of life.

He was predeceased by his loving parents, Herman Harris and Verda Lee Harris, and his dear brother, Herman Robert Harris. Left to celebrate his life and carry his memory are his devoted wife, Mrs. Harris, and his son, Christopher Jason 'CJ' Harris Jr. He will also be fondly remembered by his siblings - Theodore (Marion) Harris, Ronald Harris, Marlon Pierre Harris, Benjamin Harris, Romana Harris, Debra Miles, and Marquitta 'GiGi' Harris.

Also mourning his loss are his nieces and nephews - Teshauna Perry, Sharice McGee, James E.T. Harris Sr., Jordan Hunter, David Harris, Marlon Harris, and Aaron Harris. In addition to his immediate family, Christopher leaves behind a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, other family members, and friends who will miss his presence dearly.

Christopher was a man of many passions. He was a dedicated fan of Rick James' music and always cheered for The Cleveland Browns. He found immense joy in spending time with his family and was a regular visitor at the gym. The Brothers' Trips were his favorite vacation, highlighting his love for travel and bonding with his siblings.

Known for his empathy, loyalty, preserved nature, and fun-loving spirit, Christopher was truly a family-oriented man. He shared wisdom through his life lessons, teaching us to create and maintain boundaries, pay it forward, and that it is okay to love with or without conditions. His legacy, a testament to understanding that everything isn't what we want and everything is not meant to be understood, will continue to inspire those who knew him.

One of his greatest accomplishments was the love and care he gave as a father, friend, and husband. His memory will forever be engraved in the hearts of all who knew him, loved him, and were touched by his life.
