Dear Chris, our "big" brother in Paris. Always smiling, always engaging and a joy to be around.

Continue to Rest in Peace.

Bunmi Lijadu

Hearing the news of Chris’s passing a few weeks ago shocked me, especially since it was just over a few weeks earlier, in November, that we had a long conversation and promised to catch up again soon. Sadly, that opportunity never came.

Chris was always warm and gentle, unfailingly friendly with everyone, and remarkably kind. I will cherish my memories and conversations with him, particularly our Christmas lunch together in 2014. I remember him then as being full of joy, optimism, and a great sense of hope as he was planning to begin a new chapter in his life.

My heartfelt condolences go out to Ayo, David, Philip, Jo, Mike, and Tony. May God grant them the strength and comfort to bear this loss.

My dear “bro”, this happened so suddenly and still hard to take in. I’m so glad to have known you though and all the love and laughter you brought. I had known you from young due to the closeness of our dad’s Leslie and Eben and it was such a pleasant surprise to find you’d be my brother in law as well. Our dads will be waiting for you with love at the other end alongside our mums. Rest in perfect peace darling bro. May the Lord comfort Ayo, David, Philip, Jo, Mike and Tony like only he can. Sending lots of love on behalf of the Ikomis.
Please accept our condolences from my family to yours. So sorry for your loss. Joy
Chris my main man, I will dearly missed you my bro. You are more than a friend & a brother in law to me. Good night beloved, good night Chris Harriman, it pains me that this an end to our heartly jokes and there will be no another you!
I just learned of Chris's passing today, February 21, 2025. I am deeply saddened by this news.  I have always been truly impressed by the huge amount of love he had for his family and friends, and so I extend my condolences to those who knew and loved him. It felt as though his capacity to love those dear to him was boundless. I never had the pleasure of meeting Chris in person but I remember our first exchange on a mutual friend's post on Facebook, where I had inadvertently confused him... I remember thinking he was a lovely soul and quickly tried to remedy the situation by saying, "I'm sorry if I offended you in some way as it wasn't my intention. In this short exchange, I can tell that the world would be a better place with more Chris Harrimans in the world". We became friends and I feel privileged that he touched my life in some way. Rest in peace, dear Chris. You are a lovely soul.

May his soul rest in perfect peace and may the good God grant the entire HARRIMAN'S family the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.

When I think of Chris, the Jimmy Reeves song, ‘This World is not my home, I’m just passing through’ keeps playing in my head… Chris was the purest of souls and loved in the most authentic way.
We’ve lost a really good one, but find solace knowing he’s gone to his forever home and has finally found peace.
May Chris’s gentle soul forever rest in perfect peace and eternal light shine upon him.
May God give Ayo, David, Philip, Mike, Tony, my Darling Josephine & Leslie the strength to navigate through this painful but inevitable loss.
You’ve gained another Angel in Heaven. 🙏🏾😇❤️

Chris,  it was a pleasure to reconnect with you at my cousin, Ato's wedding in Seville in 2019. You were such a good looking, charismatic and well-spoken man with a great sense of humour.  I will always remember what you said, "I like Nigeria, when I have a return ticket!"

Your passing is a loss for us. But I know you have taken your sense of humour to where you are now, dancing and laughing with your angels,  wrapped in the love of your ancestors and the almighty.

May you be at peace!

Thank you for all the laughter!

Such a lovely, lively spirit, a spark that lights the world and can never be dimmed. Wishing you much joy on your onward journey dear friend. Our loving thoughts go with you.
