Christopher Michael Goodrich, beloved husband, son, brother, and uncle passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 5, 2025.

Born on July 9, 1984, Chris, affectionately known as "Goody" to most and "Unkie" to a few, was a lifelong resident of San Gabriel.

He built a life centered on family, and his true passion: baseball.

He was a beloved baseball coach who mentored young athletes and was a true role model who shaped young lives for the better.

Above all, Christopher was deeply committed to his family. He leaves behind his loving wife, Hilary Goodrich, who was his best friend and partner in life. He is also survived by his mother, Diane Goodrich, and his father, Michael Goodrich. He was a cherished brother to his sister, Kim Chicca, and a loving uncle to his nephews, Owen and Dylan Goodrich.

Goody was a man of few words but his presence was always felt. He had a kindness that touched everyone he met. He will be profoundly missed by his family, friends, colleagues, and the ones he coached throughout the years.

Chris' Celebration of Life will be held at Church of Our Saviour in San Gabriel on January 3rd, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Reception will follow. We are asking all who attend to wear blue, Dodgers or UCLA attire.

The family kindly asks those who knew Christopher to share their favorite stories and any pictures they may have of him as they celebrate his memory.
