Christopher's obituary

Christopher Eugene Elliott

July 27, 1982 – January 17, 2025

With profound sadness and endless love, we announce the passing of Christopher Eugene Elliott, a devoted father, a loyal friend, and a man whose heart carried more than the world could ever see.

Chris served his country with unwavering dedication, enlisting in the United States Army in June 2000 as a wheeled vehicle mechanic. Over the next eight years and three months, he deployed to Iraq, Kuwait, and Korea, forming unbreakable bonds with his fellow soldiers—brothers in arms who stood beside him through both triumphs and hardships. He served with courage and honor, earning numerous commendations, including the Bronze Star with Valor. Beyond the medals and accolades, Chris carried the weight of his experiences—the silent battles that too many warriors know too well.

Although his military career played a significant role in shaping him, his greatest pride and deepest love were his daughters, Maddie and Kenzie. They were the light of his life, the source of his brightest smiles and proudest moments. No matter where life led him, his love for them knew no bounds, and they will forever carry his strength, humor, and heart within them.

After his time in the Army, Chris pursued his lifelong passion—flying. Whether navigating the skies or cruising the open road on his motorcycles, he was driven by a love for adventure. As a private jet pilot, he embraced the unparalleled freedom of flight, finding peace in the skies. In those moments, he pursued the horizon with the same unwavering determination that had always defined him.

Chris was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back—always showing up when you needed him and finding ways to make you laugh even in your darkest moments. He bore his burdens silently, never wanting to place them on others. He left an impression wherever he went, living life with unwavering commitment. Whether in service, fatherhood, or friendship, he gave his all—never doing anything halfway.

Chris leaves behind a family who loved him beyond measure—his father, Ronald Elliott; his mother, Eva Pettyjohn; his stepmother, Sandra Elliott; his brothers, Brandon and Josh Elliott; his sisters, Amanda and Alexandra Elliott; and the mother of his children, Andrea Lindaman. Most of all, he leaves behind Madison and Mackenzie, who will forever carry his love and legacy forward.

To everyone who knew and loved Chris—remember him for his laughter, kindness, strength, and generous heart.

Chris, we love you. We miss you. We wish you could have stayed. May you now find peace, free from the burdens you carried for so long.

Til Valhalla, brother. You are finally at rest.
