Christopher's obituary

Christopher Denig, born on November 18, 1958, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2025, in Mulberry, Florida, at the age of 66.

Christopher was a devoted husband to his loving wife, Robin. He was also a proud stepfather to three children and grandfather to four cherished grandchildren. His family brought him great joy and remained at the center of his life.

Known affectionately as Chris, he had a generous spirit and a heart full of kindness. He delighted those around him with his signature corny jokes that never failed to bring a smile. His love for animals, especially dogs, was evident in the deep bond he shared with his beloved pets. Chris also found quiet fulfillment in his coin collection—a hobby that reflected his appreciation for history and detail.

Chris’s warmth and humor touched all who knew him. His presence brought comfort and laughter, and his absence will be deeply felt by Robin, his stepchildren and grandchildren, and many others whose lives he graced with friendship and compassion.

A celebration of Christopher’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in his memory be made to a local animal rescue or shelter, honoring his lifelong love of dogs.

Though he has departed this earthly life, we take comfort in knowing that Chris is at peace. May his memory continue to inspire kindness and joy in the hearts of those who knew him.
