Chris's obituary
Christopher Glen Copeland, beloved son, brother, uncle, and loyal friend, passed away on May 20, 2025, in Riverview, Florida, at the age of 52. Born on August 24, 1972, in Fullerton, California, Christopher lived a life defined by his unwavering loyalty, quiet strength, and deep devotion to the people and passions he held dear.
Chris was a proud graduate of Arizona State University, where he earned his degree in Supply Chain Management. His time at ASU wasn’t just about academics—it was where his love for Sun Devils football took root and grew into a lifelong passion. Game days were sacred, and his annual trips to cheer them on in person were more than tradition—they were moments of pure joy.
Later, he earned an MBA from Amberton University, balancing his career with a commitment to learning and growth. Christopher spent over 20 years at Raytheon, where he quietly and consistently made a difference, earning the respect of his colleagues and contributing to work that mattered deeply to him.
Outside of work and football, Christopher found peace and purpose on the golf course. Whether he was chasing a birdie or just enjoying the fresh air with friends, golf was one of his greatest joys.
Chris’s love for his family was unwavering. He is survived by his devoted parents, Glen and Nancy Copeland; his sisters, Tressa Coburn (Michael) and Candace Sandstrom (Jon); and his nieces and nephews and aunt.
Chris lived with quiet integrity, never needing the spotlight to make a lasting impact. His absence leaves a space that can’t be filled—but his memory, his kindness, and the example he set will live on in all who had the privilege of knowing him.
He was deeply loved. He will be deeply missed. And he will never be forgotten.
