Christopher's obituary
Christopher Thomas Baader, born on February 27, 1962, passed away on May 3, 2023, from Stage IV Adenocarcinoma. Christopher was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and uncle and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Baader; daughter Danielle Baader and sons Adam Caughman and Zachary Baader, daughter-in-laws Natalie and Maxine, and his sisters Annie Bang, Joan Baader, and Barb Sloan, as well as his brothers Mark and Daniel Baader. Christopher also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren Christopher Baader II, Carrie, Andy, and Jack Caughman, and animals, Maddie, Dusty, and Halas. He also leaves behind many sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
Christopher was preceded in death by his loving parents, Beulah and William Baader, whose memories continue to inspire those they left behind.
An avid reader, Christopher particularly enjoyed the works of Dean Koontz. A dedicated sports fan, he rooted for the Chicago Bears and the Chicago White Sox. In his downtime, Christopher could often be found playing Candy Crush on his phone, which he almost beat.
With a loving heart, Christopher was passionate about animal rescue and supported the cause diligently. His personality was characterized by his wit, stubbornness, and warm-hearted nature. Christopher lived by the lessons he shared: "Always tell it like it is."
Among Christopher's proudest accomplishments were his children Adam, Dani, and Zach, whom he loved deeply and saw as the greatest testament to his life's work. As his family and friends come to terms with his passing, they will continue to find inspiration in Christopher's cherished memories and the many lives he touched.
