It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Christopher Johnston, a deeply cherished son, brother, uncle, and friend, who passed away on March 29, 2024. Born to Ken and Lori Johnston on March 8, 1988, Chris was a bright light in the lives of everyone who knew him.
Chris had the most incredible heart , cared deeply for others, and wasn’t afraid to tell those important to him that he loved them. He was the type of person who would give you the shirt off his back. His vibrant personality and compassionate spirit will be missed immensely.
One of the greatest joys in Chris's life was his time spent with his niece and nephews. He loved them immensely, loved to play with them and was known affectionately as ‘Funcle’. He also held a deep respect and love for his best friend and brother Ryan and sister-in-law Alissa, who were key figures in his life and shared numerous special moments with him.
Chris's lessons of love, respect, and family values have left a lasting legacy. His belief in the importance of cherishing family relationships will continue to inspire those who were fortunate to be part of his life. Chris's life, while cut tragically short, was lived fully, and the depth of his impact will not be forgotten.
He is survived by his parents Ken and Lori, his brother Ryan, sister-in-law Alissa, grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins. His loss is felt deeply by his entire family, who will forever remember his radiant smile, his big bear hugs, his selfless love, and his unwavering commitment to his family. His memory will forever live in the hearts of those who loved him.
