From your Access Collaborative sisters,
There are no words to adequately bring comfort to the hurt brought on by this tragedy. We often ask God why are the good taken so soon and many times we are left without an answer. Please know that the bright light Christion carried in life will never dim.
We send our deepest sympathies for an amazing son, brother, athlete, artist, confidant, and friend.
We cherish and celebrate Christion Files, a young man of integrity, grit, charisma, and leadership. We cherish the many memories of Christion and amazing legacy. At such a young age, he was always full of energy, love, and you would often see him dancing around the OSU Child Care Center Blue Pod.
Crystal, as we walked the OSU campus with our children, we formed an unbreakable bond as we experienced the insurmountable joy and healing of becoming a mom. Please know that your Access Collaborative sisters are here for you. Please reach out to your sisterhood for support. We are here for you to walk with on this journey to keep Christion’s legacy and scholarship intact and thriving. We will not let you walk alone. We will be there to uplift you, sit with you, love on you, volunteer, and serve however else you may need.
Christion’s perfect smile, his artistic gifts (dancing, singing, playing the piano), the ability to illuminate a room, cheer up a friend, or be a trailblazer in the classroom and on the track will forever be remembered. It is no surprise that he chose to go to Morehouse, where leadership is learned, and legends are born because Christion is the example of leadership and a legend. We will miss his energy, his spark, his light, and leadership. His legacy will live through his amazing mother Crystal, family, and friends who cultivated the leader in him.
We thank you Crystal, family, and friends for sharing such a beautiful soul with us and continuing Christion’s legacy through this scholarship fund. Christion you have ignited a flame within us all and we thank you. Peace be unto you.
