Christine's obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Christine McDonough on December 27, 2024. Born on February 15, 1951, Christine lived a life characterized by her faith, elegance, and remarkable resilience. A luminary in the truest sense, her radiance touched all who had the pleasure of crossing her path.
A classy and beautiful woman, Christine was admired for her poise and the innate ability to make anyone feel welcome. Her charm and warm smile, coupled with a delightful sense of fun, made her the perfect hostess. And yet, beneath this lively spirit, Christine was also an enduring rock for her loved ones.
Christine held several pivotal roles throughout her life. She was the formidable force behind her husband's successful years in business and ministry, offering tireless support and undying dedication. Her leadership skills shone brightly when she took on the responsibilities of PTA president in Dobbs Ferry, NY, and later, the neighborhood homeowners association vice president. Always ready to serve her community, Christine was a pillar of strength and perseverance. Her life was a beautiful reflection of her love for God, her family, and every person she encountered.
Her legacy will be fondly remembered as one of style, class, and elegance, and most of all, her faith in God. Christine exemplified the belief that whatever you undertake, it should be done well and with unwavering style and grace. Her legacy will continue to inspire and guide those who had the privilege of knowing her.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jim McDonough; daughters, Jessica Bancroft and Meredith McDonough; son, Ryan McDonough; brother, John Willing; son-in-law, David Bancroft; daughter-in-law, Brett McDonough; and her five grandchildren. Christine's absence will be deeply felt by her extended family and friends both near and far, across various corners of the globe.
