Christine's obituary

Christine M. Hart Sutton, 92, Wife, Mother, Mama Sutton, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Daughter, Sister and Aunt, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 under the care of Community Hospice. She was born July 4, 1926 in Toombs County, Georgia to the late Norman Hershel and Annie Nancy Elizabeth Hadden Hart. She was married to the late W.D. Sutton and is survived by her three sons, Hart Sutton (Manya McClain), Bill Sutton (Beverly) and Don Sutton (Renee); four grandchildren, Bryan Sutton, Ryan Sutton, Beth Sutton (Paul Triay) and Kyle Sutton and seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. After graduating from Toombs Central High School, she attended Moler Beauty School of Cosmetology in Atlanta, Georgia. Christine owned and operated a beauty salon for many years. Christine was Cub Scout Den Mother, School Safety Patrol Mother, PTA President and Parent President at Paxon Jr. High School. Christine enjoyed being with family, traveling, singing in the choir, teaching Sunday School, and serving the Lord. Christine Sutton was an elegant lady with her own unique sense of style and grace. 

 Visitation will be Wednesday, October 24, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Hardage-Giddens Riverside Funeral Home & Memorial Park 7242 Normandy Blvd. Jacksonville Fl. Funeral services celebrating Christine's life will be Thursday, October 25, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel at Hardage-Giddens. Pastor Larry McGinley of Old Plank Road Church will be officiating. Burial will immediately follow Riverside Memorial Park.
