Hi Katie,

I tied sending this in June from my new email address & have not heard from you. It probably went to spam. I am further along on my “Alma & Andy” (see below) letter for everyone to see. I would like to use you for your Family (Jeannie), I have Berta (Helen), Paula (Bud) & as I said below maybe Robbie for Linda’s Family. I would also like Wendy’s info. This is probably disjointed – maybe read below first.

I look forward to hearing from you!

Hi Katie,

Sorry I didn’t respond to your Christmas Card. Pat & I have had health problems beginning around Thanksgiving & still on going. I had hip replacement, a bad infection, Pat had a heart blockage & stent put in & I am now recovering from a fall. I wanted to touch base because I have a new email address laurie.patterson76@gmail.com – while we don’t communicate often it is important to be able to keep in touch with you. I want to give you Pat’s email also, it is patrick.patterson76@gmail.com – Just a reminder our home phone is 818-848-1857 & Pat’s cell is 818-516-2792. I love that you are working on some film on the Rasmussen side of the family, I hope to get a peek at them. I am working on a letter from Grandma Rassy to my Mom on “Andy & Alma’s Move to California”, Helen & Bud were toddlers & my Dad a baby. It is a great read & I want to get copies to all the cousins. Right now I am down to getting a map that represents the time in history to mark their route - it included a wrong turn to an Indian reservation that scared Grandma to death!

I hope this finds you well and happy. Also, could you give me Wendy’s email, she ask me for some family info. She gave me a Corona. CA address & said her husbands Mom I think lives on Buena Vista St. here in Burbank and she sometimes visits there. I would also like to have I think It is Linda’s daughter Robbie’s email address. Is she the short, tiny one with the “Fairy Village” in her garden and loves children. My memory isn’t always good, we just had such a nice visit (if I am remembering the name right), and I thought she would be a good contact to get copies of the trip to California to Linda’s side of the family.

I am home from work recovering from my fall and am trying to catch up on some important correspondence. You were the top of the list. Take care & I hope to hear from you soon.

Blessings, Cousin Laurie

P.S. This Christmas I will do Cards again!

My heart goes out to the Griggs family.  Chris was such a sweet, loving soul.  So proud of her beautiful girls and tender, loving mother.  May she live on in our hearts and continue to guide her daughters in spirit.  I decorated for Halloween in her Honor.

I love the sweet silliness of my sister. She always warmed my heart and put a big smile on my face.

Lunch with my sister at Rafferty‘s. She was always the designated driver because of those long island iced tea‘s that I enjoyed.
Aunt Tina, as I affectionately came to know her, welcomed me into her family with warm, open arms. She immediately made me feel welcomed and loved. A special soul like hers will always shine bright, and will live on in those who loved her the most. She raised a beautiful family, and passed along her kind and caring spirit to her wonderful daughters. Thank you Tina for being such a lovely addition to my life. And, we promise to celebrate Halloween with the same fabulous gumption that you did - we will make you proud! We love you Aunt Tina, forever and always!
