Christine Ann DeAngelis, "Chris," 75, a longtime resident of Riverview, Michigan, passed away with family surrounding her on March 3, 2025. She was born on March 23, 1949, and embraced life with warmth and a deep appreciation for the simple joys of everyday moments.

Christine found happiness in reminiscing about the past and sharing stories with those around her. Her laughter was infectious, and her playful spirit brought joy to many. She enjoyed spending time with family, attending her grandchildren's events, crafting and repurposing items, playing Bingo and Bunco, and visiting the casino.

A member of St. Cyprian Catholic Church, Christine found comfort and community in her faith.

She was the beloved mother of William (Andrea) DeAngelis, Jr., Joel (Heather) DeAngelis, and Daniel DeAngelis. Fondly known as Nana to eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, she cherished her role in their lives. She is also survived by her sister, Rose Marie (Anthony) Darmetko. Christine was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley Hardecki and Helen (John) Wojnar; her sister, Theresa (Robert) Labadie; her husband, William DeAngelis Sr.; and her daughter-in-law, Ashlee DeAngelis.

A Memorial Mass will be held in Christine’s honor on April 5, 2025, at St. Cyprian Catholic Church, located at 13249 Pennsylvania Rd., Riverview, Michigan. The service will begin at 10:00 AM.

Christine’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. May remembering her laughter and love continue to bring comfort to all who cherished her presence.
