Christine Lynne Bolduc (Fitzgerald), 48, of Longmeadow entered eternal rest on February 27, 2025, with her loving family at her side. She was born in Springfield on February 10th, 1977, to Robert E. and Frances L. (Murray) Fitzgerald. Christine was a graduate of Cathedral High School (’96) where she played on the Western Mass and State Championship girls’ soccer team. She then graduated from Assumption College in 2000 with a B.S. in Communication. Christine was immensely proud of her Irish heritage, including having the distinct honor of serving as the 1996 Springfield Colleen. She loved Irish music and would often perform her favorite song "Patsy Fagan" with her father’s bands, The Dustmen and the YankCelt Band. Christine enjoyed traveling to Ireland, Seattle, Carmel Valley, and San Diego to spend time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed many wonderful summers as a child on Cape Cod and then later with her husband and daughters. Some of her proudest moments were watching her daughters play soccer and basketball. Most importantly, Christine cherished her time with family including the Deffley, Velis, Heaps, Lundy, and Fitzgerald families. She always put the needs of others before her own and her strength and love are an inspiration to all who knew her. Christine is survived by her devoted husband Andrew; her two precious daughters Mackenzie and Kayleigh; her mother Frances Fitzgerald of Springfield, father Robert Fitzgerald and his companion Mary Cosgriff of Longmeadow; her sister Anne Fitzgerald of Enfield and brother Brendan Fitzgerald and his wife Erin of Agawam. Christine also leaves behind her beloved nieces and nephews Keira Fitzgerald, Braedan Fitzgerald, Cailyn Bolduc, Toby Bolduc, and Josie Zeppa. She was blessed to have loving in-laws Alan and Mary Ann (LaLima) Bolduc of Springfield, Bryan Bolduc of Springfield, Christopher Bolduc and his wife Nicole of Ludlow. She was sincerely grateful for the support of her loving friends who were there for her during these challenging years. Christine’s family would especially like to thank her doctors and nurses at Dana Farber for their constant and attentive treatment and loving care. Her life will be celebrated on Thursday, March 6th with a visitation from 3pm-7pm at Sampson’s Chapel of the Acres, 21 Tinkham Rd in Springfield. Her funeral will follow on Friday the 7th with the public invited to meet directly at Sacred Heart Church for her funeral mass at 11:00am. She will then be laid to rest at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Springfield. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to an education fund for Christine and Andy’s daughters to the Christine F. Bolduc Breast Cancer Fund c/o Florence Savings Bank, 85 Main Street, Florence, MA 01062.
