My deepest condolences to the family especially Taaj. Kumi was my friend although we hadn’t been in touch for some time. She was one of the most talented artists but also loved helping others and being there for people. She was the epitome of lightness and a pleasure to be around .I’m so sad to hear of her passing. When I was married she brought me to her childhood home and her mom (your mom) made my wedding dress. I have only the dearest of memories and always will. She will be missed by many!
I am deeply saddened by the news of our dear Christina Kumi’s  passing. I had the pleasure of dancing with her while in George Faison’s Universal Dance Experience Company.  My sincere and deepest condolences to her family and friends. Her extraordinary talent will leave memories for many.🙏🏽

Kimball Family, my sincere condolences. Losing someone you love is never easy, and it’s even harder when their life feels cut short.

The Bible gives us real comfort at John 11:11, Jesus compares death to a peaceful sleep, and Jehovah promises to wake our loved ones again. Acts 24:15 reminds us of that beautiful hope of the resurrection. May this hope give you comfort and strength as you look forward to seeing Christina again.

I knew Kumi to be an elegant, intelligent, able, and talented woman. She could excel at anything. She had the best smile and confidence. I am glad she had her son Taaj. My sincere condolences to him and to the rest of her family. Godspeed Kiki!

TJ,

A graceful, beautiful soul, she was truly extraordinary and will be missed.  She was a good influence for so many people.  My condolences to her family and her many good friends.

My deep deep condolences to Taaj at the loss of his mother. Her imprint of big-hearted care for others and creative genius lives on through Taaj, who like his mother, connects profoundly and tenderly with those of us lucky enough to know him.

Rest in Peace, Kumi.

Kumi leaves a beautiful Legacy.  I knew her for a short while and she was wonderful to know.
