Christina Marie Paletti Felker January 28, 1954 – January 1, 2026

With deep love and gratitude, we remember Christina Marie Felker, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and true steadfast friend. Her generosity, warmth, kindness and quiet strength touched everyone who knew her. She had a heart full of love and concern, and always made time to listen, share memories and offer gentle guidance.

Christina Marie Felker, 71, of Austin and Bastrop, TX passed away peacefully at home after a long and courageous fight with cancer surrounded by her loving family on New Year’s Day. She was married 45 happy years to the love of her life, Byron Clay Felker.

Christina was born in Naples, Italy to LCDR Arthur, V. Paletti USN and Jean C. (Guaragna) Paletti. She was the third child of four children.

In 1978 she graduated from the University of Texas in dental hygiene. She worked over 40 years and loved her profession, the people she worked for and with and her patients.

Her greatest treasure was her family. She and Clay created many happy memories on their houseboat on Lake Travis with their son and grandchildren who all love fishing and swimming in the lake. Her hobbies included needlepoint an interest she shared with her dear brother Al. Her masterpieces adorn the walls of her home, Christmas tree ornaments and pillows. She loved being with her family, watching birds and studying the financial industry. She was proficient in doing financial trading in new markets and loved stock trading.

She is survived by her husband, Clay and her son, Tyson Felker and daughter-in-law Devon Clifford of Bastrop and four cherished grandchildren Hunter, Brooke, Madelynn and Nayeli, her sisters Barbara Gerrish (Ken) Hobe Sound FL, Carol Haase (John) Greentown, PA and brother Alfred Paletti (Michael Green) Dallas, TX, countless friends, many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was pre deceased by her parents and infant daughter, Leigh Ann.

A celebration of Christina‘s life will be planned for Saturday, January 24th 2026 from 1:00pm - 4:00pm at The Tarcoola Ranch. 655 FM-969, Bastrop, TX 78602. Please bring any photos you have of Christina.
