Christie Lou Chilbert, 49, of Bath, NY, passed away unexpectedly on January 18, 2024. She was born on January 26, 1974, in Urbana, New York, to Linda VanSkiver and Andrew VanSkiver. Christie was a loving and caring individual who will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Christie was known for her funny and kind nature. She had a great sense of humor and always brought laughter to those around her.

Aside from her wonderful personality, She loved playing with her granddaughters and spending quality time with her family. Christie cherished the moments she had with her loved ones, creating lasting memories. She also enjoyed listening to music, finding solace in its melodies.

Christie is survived by her mother, Linda VanSkiver, her father, Andrew VanSkiver, her daughter, Dakota Higbie, her son, Dominick Chilbert, her son, Connor Liebman, her granddaughters, Evelyn Higbie and Ezra Lindsey, her brother, Andy VanSkiver(Eva), her brother, David VanSkiver, her sister, Michelle Johnson (Donald), her sister, Lisa Lewis, her sister, Katrina Stryker, and numerous nieces and nephews.

May Christie’s soul rest in eternal peace. She will forever be remembered for her kindness, humor, and love for her family.
