Christy's obituary
She was born May 11, 1955, in Willacoochee GA, daughter of the late Joseph and Thelma Peterson.
Christy was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Carrie Lynn Peterson; two brothers, Roy Peterson and Joe Ben Peterson; and two sisters, Martha Cleaton and Nancy Landrum.
She was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for 20 years. She was a hard worker, a loyal friend, a great sister, and an even better mom and nana. She enjoyed arts, crafts, and spending time with family.
Christy is survived by one son, Jessie Moncrief; one daughter, Tina Burton; two grandchildren, Careli Cauthron and Miracle Burton; four brothers, John Peterson, Dennis Peterson, Bob Peterson, and Mike Peterson; and two sisters, Sandra Hart and Ava Pace. She also leaves behind many other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
