In her family life, Chrissy was a beacon of love and support. She is survived by her children, Anthony, Patrick, Haley, Lindsay, and Jammie Szulczynski, who will carry forward her spirit and anecdotes. Chrissy was predeceased by her father Ray Shepard, mother Shirley Shepard, sister Debb Casey, and brother William Shepard whose memory stayed alive in her heart.
A dedicated attendee at the St.Nicholas Catholic Church and member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars organization, Chrissy showed a genuine commitment to her spiritual life and the cause of veterans, which she deeply cared about. She had a fondness for various recreational activities, including knitting and watching movies. In her downtime, she loved rooting for the Chicago Cubs. She cherished the movie 'Independence Day', and Coco Beach, Florida, held a special place in her heart as her favorite vacation spot.
Chrissy was known best for her kind heart and bubbly personality. She had a unique ability to connect with anyone, from family and friends to complete strangers, always lending a patient ear and offering a helping hand. Her natural tendency to help others, even as far as giving the clothes off her back, was a testament to her generous and charitable spirit.
Her life was a testament to the value of kindness, respect, and understanding. Chrissy firmly believed in treating everyone with respect as one never knows what another person is enduring. Her lessons resonate with us, reminding us of the profound connection we share with each other as human beings.
Her legacy is one of unparalleled kindness and love. It is a legacy that her children, her family, and friends, and indeed the entire "Flock" will strive to uphold in her memory. The loss of Chrissy leaves a void that cannot be filled. Her vibrant spirit, unwavering positivity, and deep reverence for humanity will be profoundly missed.
