Chris was a man of unmatched strength, demonstrating fearlessness, determination, and an unbridled passion for life. His journey, marked by resilience and unwavering love, has come to an end, bringing peace to a soul that knew profound suffering.
A seeker of truth, lifelong learner, and artist, Chris approached life with a hunger for knowledge, wisdom, and beauty. Despite physical limitations, he remained undeterred in his pursuit of understanding, always curious about the intricate workings of the world. Every moment, for Chris, was an opportunity to learn, and his intelligence surpassed the bounds of conventional knowledge.
His love for family and friends knew no limit, etching an indelible mark on the hearts of those privileged to know him. Chris's altruism made him not only a beloved son but also a cherished brother, nephew, uncle, and friend. His ability to forgive swiftly and utter the words, "I'm sorry," reflected a tender, accepting, and forgiving nature. As a benevolent counselor, he generously offered guidance and support, especially to those facing adversity. He offered his wisdom as freely as his love.
Chris's brilliance shone through in lively debates on theology and politics, accompanied by a sense of humor that ranged from the juvenile to the erudite. Passionate about equality, justice, and humanity, he constantly examined his biases and preconceived notions to ensure his beliefs were objective and righteous. A lover of hard rock, art, laughter and cooking shows, Chris enjoyed both the simple and complex gifts of this world. He was both humble and unpretentious. Chris had a perpetual twinkle in his eye, he embodied a Peter Pan spirit, never losing his joie de vivre.
Despite a serious injury at the age of 16, Chris triumphed over the odds, becoming a breathtaking painter for The Mouth and Foot Painters in Germany. His determination to evolve, grow, and thrive was unwavering, earning him acclaim as not only a great disabled artist but a great artist, period. His heart of gold and tenacity shone brightly, especially in the face of immense trials.

His incredible soul has left an indelible impact, creating a butterfly effect of heroism, goodwill, generosity, and humanity. As we bid him farewell, we await the day we can hold him again and witness his mischievous, kind, joyful smile—the light in our hearts.
Chris's myriad questions have finally found their answers. While his departure leaves an irreplaceable void, his spirit lives on in the cherished memories of those he touched. May he rest in peace.
