On January 23, 2024, we lost a cherished member of our community, Chris Stewart. Born on April 25th  1967, Chris was a beacon of light in many of our lives. His vivacious character was imbued with humour, compassion, fearlessness and adventure. His absence leaves a void that will not be filled.

Chris leaves behind his loving family: his sister,Donna Carter, his father, Harry Stewart, his mother, Lucille Stewart, his pride and joy - his daughter, Krystal Stewart and his precious granddaughters, Kendall Baker and Somaya Orellana. His love for them was boundless, and they were his greatest inspiration. In every way possible, he tried to pass on the values he held dear: hard work, helping others, and the importance of laughter.

Never one to shy away from hard work, Chris strove to instill in those around him the importance of diligence and persistence. His helping nature extended beyond his immediate network, touching the lives of many within and outside his community. His infectious laughter will resonate in our memories, a reminder of his indomitable spirit and his unique ability to find joy in the mundane.

His greatest pride and accomplishment was his daughter, Krystal. Her growth and success were a testament to his influence and love. He worked hard to leave a legacy of honesty, kindness, and perseverance for his daughter, and through her, it will continue to echo.

Chris Stewart lived a life full of love, laughter, adventure, and kindness. His spirit will be carried forward by those who had the privilege to know him and cherish his memory. He leaves behind not just grief at his passing, but also the joy of having shared this journey with him. He will be greatly missed.
