Christine “Chris” Marie Rogers, age 47 of Marcellus passed away Saturday, November 9, 2019 at home surrounded by family.
She was born in Bristol, Pennsylvania on October 12, 1972 the daughter of Gerald E. and Shirley Anne (Sessa) Motter.
Chris was the Director of Nursing at multiple places most recently at the Cass County Medical Care Facility in Cassopolis.
Chris enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, Square Dancing, Country Line Dancing, and was a Lifetime Member of the Marcellus VFW Post 4054 Ladies Auxiliary.
Chris is survived by her Mother Shirley Motter; her daughter McKenna Rogers of Marcellus; son Devan (Amber) Ward of Three Rivers and Hunter Rogers of Marcellus; grand children Gideon Meister and Melody Ward; one sister Kimberly Forde of Connecticut; and one brother Jerry (Susie) Motter of Marcellus.
Chris was preceded in death by her Father Gerald E. Motter; Aunt Barb Hamilton and Uncle Danny Motter.
The family will receive friends from 4-6:00 PM on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at the Mater-Ralston Funeral Home followed by a Memorial service at 6:00 PM with Pastor John Messner officiating. Memorials may be directed to a Scholarship Fund for her Grandchildren.
