Christopher Edward Roach, age 79, of Wayne, MI, passed away on March 30, 2023. Beloved husband of the late Barbara Roach, loving father of Becky (Bill) O’Brien, Kenneth (Laurie) Roach, Robert (Janet) Roach, and Jennifer (Wayne) Watt, grandfather of ten, great-grandfather of three and brother of late Frank Roach.

Chris graduated from Garden City High School and joined the Ypsilanti Police Department as a patrol officer. He then became a juvenile officer within the school district and worked closely with the Boy’s Club. He later became a sergeant and was with the department for 25 years. After retiring from the Ypsilanti Police Department, he worked in security at St. Joseph’s Hospital.

Chris enjoyed spending time with his family and took great pride of his background in law enforcement.
