It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Chris Peden on December 19, 2023. Born on July 4, 1964, Chris lived a fulfilling life of 59 years, brimming with joy, love, and cherished memories.

Chris was a devoted family man, loved by those he leaves behind; his wife, Anita Peden, whom he married in 1987, and their children Elizabeth and Alec Peden. He also leaves behind a loving sister, Jeanette Green, and a supportive brother, Darrell Peden. Chris was predeceased by his parents, Gerald and Wilma Peden.

Known for his fun, loving, generous, and sweet personality, Chris was a beacon of light to those around him. He was a devoted employee who touched countless lives during his career at the San Juan Unified School District - Early Childhood Education, from where he retired in 2020.

Chris's absence leaves a void in our hearts. However, his spirit lives on in the precious moments he shared with us. His love, life, and legacy will be celebrated in a memorial service to be held at 11:00 AM on January 27, 2024, at Arcade Church at 3927 Marconi Avenue, Sacramento, CA. As we remember Chris, we invite you to join us in celebrating his life.

At this time of grieving, we, the family, greatly appreciate the outpouring of love and support. It reminds us that despite our loss, Chris's legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of those whose lives he touched.
