Devin Taylor my son in law made me aware of your story and is running in honor of your family in the Philadelphia Marathon. My heart goes out to you. Elva Rubio
Chris was so supportive of my art journey when I was begining. His work and use of colour was a huge inspiration to me. He will be deeply missed. Thank you for everything my friend.

Dear Keith and Valerie,

Recently I was shocked to hear news about Chris. I never met him but his calendar still hangs right behind my office desk - a stunning image. I am so, so sorry for you both and for Chris's family and two little boys. What a tragedy that goes beyond words.

I think of you often and hope to see you both before too long.

My heart aches for you,

Anne

We cherish the pieces of furniture Chris custom made for us - a bed, 2 bedside tables (he was so excited to demonstrate the soft close drawers), a kitchen table and the gorgeous photos of our 1780 farm. Chris was engaging and fun to be around. We are very sad and offer our deepest sympathy.  Love, Sue and Dick Showalter

We were so shocked and saddened to hear of Chris’ passing. He was a fine man and our hearts break for his two boys. Emily, please know we are here if there is anything you need.

Geri and I lived next door to Chris on South Road.  One day, Geri was riding a horse which reared.  Fearing the horse would fall backwards upon her, she chose to "bail out" and she landed on our May-solid-as concrete-sand riding ring. I was in the house, unawares.  Chris was mowing.  He turned the engine off.  Geri, unable to move, called out, "Help!"  Chris heard and came running over, through our gate, on to our ring.  He spoke with Geri very briefly and ran up to our house to alert me.  (She had fractured her entire pelvis.)  I still can see him and his intense concern as he quickly told me what happened.  Chris stayed with us until the ambulance had left.

Aside from Chris' smile, easy manner, good neighborliness, his photography (especially of birds and our horses!), this act of rescue was so very important.  Thank you, Chris.
