Chris's obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Chris Hatter, a devoted husband, father, and friend. Born on May 7, 1980, Chris sadly passed away on October 21, 2024. Known by many for his warm-hearted and compassionate nature, he is remembered by all as a big, warm cuddle bear.
He is survived by his adoring wife, Bunny Hatter, to whom he was deeply dedicated. Their partnership was a testament to their shared love and respect. Chris also leaves behind three beloved step-sons, Owen Taylor, Chris McBride, and Austen Mcbride, as well as his cherished step-daughter, Kiersten Mcbride. They all held a special place in his heart.
Chris was predeceased by his father, Christopher Hatter Sr., and his mother, Terri Hatter. Their memories live on through Chris, and it is our hope that they are reunited in peace.
Keen on enjoying the simpler things in life, Chris delighted in a good steak with mushrooms and onions, paired with a refreshing Mountain Dew. His love for the 'Dukes of Hazzard' and the movie 'Blade' were always a topic of conversation, and no gathering was complete without a match of NFL Madden, his favorite game. He was a loyal fan of The Steelers, his enthusiasm unyielding and infectious.
Among his favorite pastimes was spending quality time with his children and loving wife. His dedication to his family was a trait he held dear, and he taught us all the importance of love and unity. His favorite color, blue, like the vast sky, reflected his expansive heart and enduring love.
Chris' legacy is his children, who embody his values and will carry his spirit. His teachings on how to love one another will continue to guide those he left behind. Among his many accomplishments, driving truck was one he was particularly proud of, for it symbolized his diligence and commitment.
Chris Hatter's life was rich with love and care for his family. His warm embrace will be deeply missed, but his spirit lives on in our hearts and memories.
