Ellen and Derek, We are so sorry to hear about little Chopper! After reading your obituary we can see how much he was loved and cared for in your home. He was a special friend and important part of your family. Having to make that decision of crossing the rainbow bridge is harder than anyone could ever imagine! I still feel sad when I think about Cooper. But it was the right decision for Chopper! Do not feel guilty about anything! You gave him better care than more humans get. He lived a wonderfully full life! He wouldn’t want you to feel guilty either!
