I was heartbroken when I read the news of Chipo's passing. She was one of my "daughters" at MAA who had been so sweet and clingy to me and loved so freely. My husband and I loved her! 

Dear family and friends of Chipo, we share with you in sorrow and pain of losing her. We thank God for giving us the privilege to know her and see her grow to be a loving and loveable Christian. Please accept our heartfelt sympathy and condolences!

I had the absolute pleasure to work with Chipo. I was a midwife and she was my nurse birth assistant at a birthing center. She had lived in Zambia and I, South Africa. No matter what time of night or early morning, no matter how complicated a birth even after she had already worked her hospital shift, she had a blazing smile that ripped my heart wide open. She loved those babies and cared for those mothers fiercely. My heart is raw and empty with her passing at such a young age. You will not be forgotten sweet Chipo. The midwives will carry on holding tight to our memories of you!
