敬愛的至親好友：

我們摯愛的父親黃清彥先生，於台北時間民國一○九年一月十二日晚間九點半（溫哥華時間一月十二日凌晨五點半）於溫哥華家中辭世，享年八十二歲。父親勇敢的與癌症拼搏了兩年多，即使在辭世的前一個晚上仍然精神抖擻的準備返回台灣尋求治療。我們雖然很遺憾父親未能再有機會和他心心念念的諸親友相聚一堂，但終究要感謝這些年來大家綿綿不斷、橫跨太平洋兩岸的祝福與關切。是和你們相處的福分，讓個性木訥剛強的父親在台灣時充滿歡笑、而在溫哥華時能盼望著你們，滋生出力量來堅強地面對所有的病痛和挑戰。

我們將於溫哥華當地時間2020年2月6日星期四，上午九時三十分至十一時三十分，假Forest Lawn Memorial Park（3789 Royal Oak Ave, Burnaby, BC V5G 3M1）為父親舉行告別式及火化儀式。謹此感謝各位長輩及眾親友的關懷。
