My beautiful cousin, my sisters namesake, a little girl that I considered my sister growing up. You had an impact on my life as you’ve obviously had on many others. You may not have even known it. I love you now and will forever.

I’m saddened that God had plans for you that we may not understand but we have had to accept.

I do know that you’ve created 3 beautiful, strong, capable, spirited and loving women that will carry on your legacy not only through their actions but through your grandchildren as well.

You were loved by many and will be missed by many. I am one of those many. I love you so much Cheryl Anne 🌸

In 2017 Cheryl hired me as a Kitchen Food Worker for COCSD, she was kind and got me into my kids school, where, at the time had an amazing staff. I throughly enjoyed working at MVP. Cheryl was a good boss and all about the business. She even saw one the workers going threw a cancer battle of his own and supported him every step of the way. So, I hope she had that, which with her beautiful daughters I’m sure she did. I had the pleasure of working with Sami Jo for a short while at Walmart. Anyhow, I’m very sorry for the loss of Cheryl. It came as a complete shock. RIP in Jesus’ arms now Cheryl.
You were in my life from the day you were born. From then you were so strong, courageous and loving. I shall miss knowing you are there. I loved you then and always will. You will always be with us. Aunt Norma.

I met Cheryl when she hired me as a Kitchen Lead for the Cottonwood Oak Creek School district in November of 2016. Shortly after I found myself nearly homeless and scared to death when my boyfriend of almost 4 years decided he wanted to end our relationship. Cheryl was there for me through many months of trials and tribulations as I started rebuilding myself and my life. She was more then patient with my anxiety and lack of confidence. She gave me opportunities, shared stories with me of her own past and was a true and patient friend. She was a tough boss with a heart made of pure gold. Cheryl never gave up on me. She had so much faith in herself and she showed me how to be strong, independent and she made me see that I was worth so much more then I gave myself credit for. Cheryl helped me so much. . I will forever be gratefull and touched by her generosity of spirit, her kindness and patience.

Ms. Cheryl; She is a very kind lady and very good manager. I met her time to time to drop off money for my children. One day, she asked if I do anything in the day time, I told her,"No" then she asked, "Would you like a job? working with me?" I told her let me talk with my family first. Next day, I came back to I told yes, I would like to work with you. So, she told me got to the D.O. and see Fran whom she interviewed me and I got job in with 30 mins. I showed up next day. Ms. Cheryl, asked me what do you like to do? I told her I will do everything, but dealing with money. She laugh and with her sound and smile. So, she told me, well, with you don't money, I will put you in charge with money. She told thing will be just find, you can do it! Then she set me up in her office. She taught me to learn how to count back ward in changing the money. She everyone make mistake and you will to..So, Don't worry about it.. you will just fine with me. She just make me feeling very welcome and very good about myself. We got to know each other for longer time. We talk about the jokes. We shared story about our family. She knew my two children for long time. I hear about you guys a lot.. Ms. Cheryl always talked about her children in a loving mother way. Even some time I call Boss, she really like that.. She always have a really beautiful smile to lift our day. We work together for long time. She is a reason that kept me returned to work. Now, After Sodexo left Kyrene school District, we still talk to each other. We kept in touch on the phone time to time. talk about work, life and children. Every conversation we always laugh our butt off. We really enjoy each other very much. I always looking forward to talk to her. Look forward to be able to send her Happy Birthday Note. I was very happy that I have chance to talked to her in January. In March, I send her message, but no answer from her. Then I know something was not right. I found out late that she was really sick, my heart was sad and wished I can help her, but I'm not near her. Last time I talked with her I told her I in Tx and I have back injury. She told me when you well and come to visit me. Now, I did not that chance to visited her in person, only in the spirit way. Ms. Cheryl, you are the best and I will never find any boss and good friend like you. You rest now. Please knowing that we love you and you will be missed. Note : Your mom love you all very much with her heart and her soul. She will always look after you in heaven. I'm sorry, I never do this before, I try to post her story and picture. Anyway, you all stay strong like your mom and stay together as your mom wishes. I'm sorry, I could not make it. :(
