Cheryl's obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Cheryl Sroka-Stuhr, a remarkable woman known for her tremendous strength and enduring love for her family. Born on May 7, 1963, Cheryl transitioned into the arms of God on April 6, 2025. Her absence leaves a void that can never be filled, but her memory lives on in the hearts of those she left behind.
Cheryl had an endearing personality and she was a loving, caring individual with a heart of gold. She treasured her family above all else, showing them unconditional love and support. Her dedication to family was rivalled only by her love for her dog, who was her constant companion and source of comfort.
Throughout her life, Cheryl exhibited an extraordinary spirit and strength, not least when she embarked on the challenging journey as a stroke survivor. Despite the obstacles faced, she remained resilient, meeting adversity with courage and determination.
Avid fan of the Seattle Seahawks, Cheryl took great pleasure in cheering on her favorite sports team. Her energetic spirit and unwavering support exemplified the kind of passion she had for the things she loved.
Cheryl is survived by her cherished husband, Jason Stuhr, who shared with her a love and bond that was truly special. Her love is also carried forward by her sons, David and Daniel Hoff; her brother, Darin Sroka; and sister, Shalena Gail Cates. She has a beloved niece, Sarah Siemen, who cherishes fond memories of her aunt. Nephew Nick Sroka, nephew David Siemen, Darin's childern, nephews Aaron and Adam Sroka. Cheryl was predeceased by her father, Gerhard Sroka, to whom she held a very close relationship. Cheryl also was predeceased by beloved nephew Tim White.
In these moments of loss and sadness, let us remember Cheryl for the love, warmth, and strength she brought to our lives. As we navigate through this time of grief, we find solace in knowing that Cheryl's journey has led her to a place of peace and eternal rest.
