Cheryl's obituary

Cheryl Antonia Rivers went home to Jesus on March 29,2022 at age 72.

Cheryl was born to Marie Thomas Sneed and Jeffery Donald Sneed on May 8th 1950 in Atlanta Georgia.  As a child, Cheryl loved dance and her dream was to always be a mother. Cheryl met her husband Richard Rivers in 1972 at Nakato Japanese Restaurant where they both worked. They married shortly after and went on to have two children,Dillon Rivers and Emerald Brooks Rivers.  In addition to being a dedicated and loving mother, Cheryl  also loved Cooking and bringing the entire family together . Throughout her entire life, she held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her. Cheryl joins her mother Marie, Father jeffery, nephew Philip, Nephew Ashtin and Aunt Meredith in Heaven. She is survived by Son Dillon, Daughter Brooke, Brothers Scrappy and Donnie, Sister Verl, Grandchildren Kamden, Josie, Maliyah and Ollie, And several nieces and nephews . 

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
