Lauren and Derrick.  I am so very sorry to hear about Cheryl’s passing.  She was an amazing woman and so very creative.  We loved having her in the store and have missed her.  Please know we are here for you both should you ever need anything.   Regards. Megan and the entire Vintage Back Roads crew.
Lauren, thank you for hosting the celebration yesterday. It gave many of us a chance to create even more happy memories around your mother’s life. Working with her and talking with you, I do remember you sleeping under her desk at work when you were there. Thank you so very much for giving us a chance to share her wonderful joy once again. And your gumbo was amazing! Smiles and happy thoughts. David Almaguer. Asst. Fire Chief, EMS retired.
So very sorry to hear of the passing of Cheryl .  I know that her family will miss her especially her children Derek and Lauren.  She was a loving mother and Derek spoke about her every time we talked.  He always shared with me about all the fun and loving things they would do together.  Rest in peace Cheryl.

I was so saddened to hear of the loss of Cheryl.  She was always so kind to me when I was young.  I remember her always giving me the most thoughtful gifts at Christmas.  She was always so easy to be around.  I know what a loving mother she was to her children just by hearing it all from Derek.  I’m sorry for the loss for all those who were close to her. ❤️
Even though we had not kept in touch over the years I thought about her many times. She was always a dedicated mother to Derek & Lauren and loved them very much. May she rest in peace in our Father’s arms forever✝️

To the family and close friends of Cheryl-Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss of your loved one❤️. I think that only met Cheryl one time, but felt like I knew her before that day, because she was mentioned frequently by my dear husband, Frank Grizzaffi, before his retirement in 2004.  She showed me just how special she was, when we were blessed, as she, Derek, and Lauren stopped by to visit in our home here in Chappell Hill, after they had attended a festival here.  We never forgot her . . .❤️.

My heart goes out to you, Lauren and Derek, and all of those who loved sweet Cheryl.

Aunt Cherrie (our mom-Jean Mitchell Cobb Rasmussen’s baby sister) always lit up the room with her beautiful smile, bubbly personality, and incredible sense of humor.

I could not agree more with what was said in her obituary…she was an incredibly creative individual and had a giving, generous heart that was pure as gold.

She touched the lives of so many and will be dearly missed.

I love and miss you mom. I wish I could see you again. Can’t wait to play Monopoly and Dart Baseball with you again in heaven. 💔

As the mother of our children, she was the most loving mom any kid could ever ask for. Against the odds, she was able to raise  our son and daughter to be the best they could be.

You left us too soon.

Rest in Peace with our Lord and Savior.

Cheryl was the best part of going to headquarters. If you needed something, she would get it or tell you where to find it. The good woman who had the boss's back and the firefighters too. A bright spot in a sometimes dark world. She was one of us. She got us. RIP Cheryl. Thank you God for her life. Prayers for family and friends.
Moms-Thank you for the opportunity of meeting and getting to know you. I/We will miss game nights with you and pushing you in your scooter. Monopoly will not be the same without you. Thank you for all the thoughtfulness. You are missed and love you
