A few weeks ago, I was remembering a song Cheryl taught us in Sunday school at the First General Baptist Church in Santa Ana, Ca. I remember her showing us hand motions to the song as she sang it:
Love Him in the morning when you see the sun arising - Love Him in the evening cause He took you through the day - And in the between time when you feel the pressure starting -Remember that He loves you and He promises to stay- And when you think you have to worry because it’s the thing you think you have to do- Remember He aint in a hurry- He’s always got time for you- So love Him in the morning when you see the sun arising - And love Him in the evening cause He took you through the day- And in the between time when you feel the pressure starting - remember that He loves you and He promises to stay.
I’ve never forgotten it, and sang it to my kids when they were little. So thankful for the impact that everyone in that church had on my life. My love and prayers go out to the family .❤️

We are so thankful for the many memories we have of Cheryl: Mexican lunches, worship practice, small group gatherings, worshiping together and sharing family stories. We will miss her laughter and smile. Our prayers are with the entire family.

Cheryl Green was in my class but also in my parent's dorm at Faith Academy. She was "just" another of my many adopted sisters, until we had a closer friendship where I called her "Jane", and she called me "Tarzan". Up until I saw her obituary, I had no idea where "Jane" came from. I still don't remember why she called me Tarzan (that's not my middle name :-), but it's a fun memory that I had with her. I will miss seeing her at reunions, and I will be thinking of her family at this time of loss.

Devastated. Heartbroken. You all are. The time spent with your mom traveling, Kimmie will be precious memories after the grief slows down. I pray every day for God to wrap his arms around you all, comfort you all and that you will feel his love. We will miss her so deeply. Her beautiful smile and her sweet loving nature. I am so very sorry for your loss and there are so many prayers being said for you all.

I am so so sorry for your loss. I went to high school at Faith Academy in the Philippines with Cheryl. I remember Cheryl’s sweet smile and kind, caring heart for those around her. I pray you feel God’s loving arms wrapped around you in comfort during this very difficult and painful time.

Kyle and Kimmy, we just heard and are in disbelief. Don’t really know what to say other than saying prayers for you and your family at this most difficult time. May the God of comfort touch your heart in a special way and will be praying for all of you and for the service on Saturday. With love, Peter (Acts Community Church)

Kyle, Kimmy and family, I truly am sorry for your loss. I admired her so. She spoke endlessly about her family and the love she had for you all.
God was of utmost priority in her life also. She gave and offered up many prayers to her patients and their families. I know that my life was greatly impacted by her.

My prayers are with all of you during this time and I am so very sorry for your loss. Cheryl was my preceptor and mentor when I was in NP school. But she was more than that--she became a trusted friend. I always enjoyed the conversations we had about Jesus and how what we did made a difference in peoples' lives. She was a true treasure and her peace and caring nature were always evident. I know this--she truly loved her family, with all of her heart. She will be greatly missed.

Love and prayers for the White, Green and extended clan. Most of my memories of Cheryl were of high school chats, shared classes and great catch up conversations at reunions. She was always a great person with an amazing heart, super kind to my wife Jodi at reunions, and she is terribly missed.
