Cherie's obituary

Cherie Lynne Wright

Born December 14th 1954 and passed away March 2nd 2024

Cherie was born in Blackfoot Idaho to Reo and Joanne Davis. Cherie was the oldest of the seven siblings. She had an adventurous soul and loved to travel. After graduating high school she lived in many places: Seattle, California, Montana, Utah and Idaho.

When Cherie came back from her travels she met the love of her life Randy at an Optimist Club event. The two were married in a private ceremony in Nevada. Randy had a daughter from a previous marriage and she was a new adventure for Cherie. The two had a great relationship filled with ups and downs. It was a learning curve for both of them. Cherie worked at Commercial Creamery until her retirement and took great pride in her job.

Cherie was blessed with three grandchildren that she absolutely adored. She called them her munchkins and they called her Nana. For her the name Nana held a special place, she loved her nana very much and hoped the munchkins would have the same relationship with her. She made sure to develop a special bond with each of them. They each had a special nickname that only nana would call them, and every time she used it their faces would light up.

Cherie was diagnosed with cancer in January of 2024 and the prognosis was not great. She planned to fight, unfortunately the battle was more than she could take. Cherie passed away peacefully in her home under the watchful care of her husband. March 2nd 2024. She is preceded in death by her Father, Mother, brother Steven, and many close friends.

Cherie is survived by her husband Randy, daughter April (Scott) and the Munchkins Shilo, Gaige, Khloe, and her brothers and sister. A special thank you to Brian and Elli with Hospice. She appreciated the care and time you spent to make her comfortable.

A celebration of Life will be held at Farnsworth Mortuary in Jerome Idaho on March 15th 2024 at 2:00pm. 1343 South Lincoln Ave. Jerome Idaho
