Funeral services celebrating the life of Chelsea Lynn Mooney, 33, of West Monroe, Louisiana were held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at Christ Church, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe. Interment followed immediately after at Kilpatrick's Serenity Gardens Cemetery. Officiated by Jeffrey Kent.

Chelsea was born on November 17, 1991 and peacefully went home to be with the Lord while at her residence on May 4, 2025.

She was welcomed home in heaven by her beloved grandparents, Janice Isaac, and Cammie Jean and Willie Mooney Jr. and her brother, Dakota Doyon.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Mykah Perry Smith; Parents, Ramona Doyon and husband James (Jelly), and Gary (Ben) Mooney and Amanda; Sister, Hannah Ponder-Mathus and wife Kimber; brothers, Zak Ponder, Cameron Doyon, and Landon Mooney and wife Hillary, Grandfather, William Isaac and wife, Tina and the love of her life, Colt Amos; as well as a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers are Colt Amos, Zak Ponder, Landon Mooney, Jordon Wiggins, Brandon Hayes and Joseph Mazzanti. Honorary Pallbearer will be Austin Lockhart.

Chelsea loved shopping, usually buying for others, she loved having the family together for game nights, she loved all music, watching movies, spending time with her son and she'd laugh and tell you she even looked forward to watching weekly Wrestling with Colt!

We want to express our heartfelt thanks for the outpouring of love in our community. Your prayers, kindness and support have meant the world to us during this difficult time. We are all deeply grateful for each of you and for the love you've shown to our family.

The family wishes to send a special thank you to Chelsea's employer and coworkers for their love and friendship.
